The Kwara state government had directed Heads of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) in the state to monitor time books and movement registers in their respective offices for record purposes.

The government said the move was to identify civil servants who absent themselves from their duty posts.

The Permanent Secretary, Establishment and Training in the office of the state Head of Service, Alhaji Mohammed Ibrahim Mohammed, gave the directive in Ilorin during his unscheduled visits to some MDAs to monitor adherence to punctuality.
