The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has flayed the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) over its role in the current leadership crisis in Abia State.
A spokesman of APGA, Mr. Ifeanacho Oguejiofor told Daily Trust yesterday in Abuja that INEC shouldn’t have presented Dr. Uchechukwu Ogah a certificate of return in the face of an appeal filed by Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.
He said that the APGA governorship candidate, Dr. Alex Otti,  was denied governorship of the state despite the fact that he was declared governor by the Tribunal and the Appeal Court before it was overturned by the Supreme Court.
On his part Dr. Otti said the situation in the  state is not only uncalled for but very dangerous.
Otti, who spoke through his media aide, Ferdinand Ekeoma, told Daily Trust on Sunday that the confusion will subject the people of the state to avoidable hardships.
