As Abia state marks its 30th Anniversary, the Commissioner for Information, Chief John Okiyi, has told Abians to expect better life under Governor Okezie Ikpeazu.
The Commissioner for Information stated this in an interview with newsmen in Umuahia.
He said Abians have been getting better life but should expect more ‘Better life’.
According to him, there is hope for Abians under the watch of Governor Ikpeazu.
In his words, “There is hope for Abia, because we have peace. There is hope because people in Abia are prospering now more than before.
“We have reason to thank God. It could have been worse. We are not where we used to be. In 2020, we lost prominent Abians to Covid-19 pandemic. In 2009 and 2010, the state was faced with worst hit of kidnapping.
“Our bigwigs,as well as Investors all deserted the state. But here we are today as one of the most peaceful and safest states in Nigeria.
“Our Entrepreneurs in Aba are doing well, there is hope and we are confident that God will ensure the rest that concerns Abians are concluded peacefully and progressively”, the commissioner stated.
The Commissioner assured that all aspects of life would continue to change positively under the watch of Ikpeazu.
