A former Head of State, General Abdulsalami Abubakar (rtd) and the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar III, will today attend the 19th edition of the Daily Trust Dialogue.
While Abdulsalami will chair the event; Sultan will be the Royal Father of the Day.

The dialogue, organised by Media Trust Limited (publishers of Daily Trust and other titles), will be held at the NAF Conference Centre and Suites, Gwarinpa Expressway, near NEXT Shopping Mall, Kado, Abuja.
The theme of the dialogue is ‘2023: The Politics, Economy and Insecurity’.
Guest Speaker at the dialogue is a former chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Mrs Ifueko Omoigui Okauru.
The topic will be discussed by Dr Kabir Adamu of Beacon Consulting Limited and Dr Murtala Ahmed Rufa’i, a security expert from Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto.
The event will be moderated by a veteran broadcaster, Kadaria Ahmed.
Special Guests of Honour include governors, former governors and others.
The event, which is open to members of the public, requires wearing of face masks in compliance with the COVID-19 protocols.
The annual dialogue will be streamed live on Trust TV and Daily Trust Facebook and Instagram.
