Abdulrasaq is Hilton’s Kitchen apprentice champion

The class of 2010 started out with about 400 apprentices of which only 11 fulfilled the qualification requirements. After series of theoretical and practical assessments, 6 apprentices dropped out while Abdulrasaq, Oliver Gabriel, Adebisi Oladunni, Ayuba Umar and Helen Adaji, the only female apprentice, survived the rigors of the 2-year intensive program to be eligible for the final assessment and graduation.

Guests and the jury were hosted at the Zuma Grill Restaurant, venue of the dinner and practical assessment.

After dishing out a 5-course menu to the culinary delight of the assessing guests, the contestants stood before the guests as they listened attentively to their scores and Tijani announced winner.
