A family member of the victims, who preferred anonymity, told our reporter on Sunday that the bandits’ leader made the demand after a contact was established on Friday morning.
He said though the bandits’ leader later brought down the ransom to N10m, the family was still pleading with them to further bring it down.
Spokesperson of the FCT Police Command, DSP Adeh Josephine, was yet to reply an SMS on the development.
