Abductors of FCT villagers demand N15m

The abductors of two residents of Sabo community in Kuje Area Council of the FCT have demanded a N15 million ransom.

City & Crime had reported that kidnappers two weeks ago invaded Sabo community and whisked away two residents identified as Bissalla Yusuf and Mohammed Ibrahim.

A family member of the victims, who preferred anonymity, said, “It was about 5pm on Saturday when the leader of the kidnappers called and demanded N15m.”

He also disclosed that the kidnappers stole foodstuff and provisions during the raid.

Recall that gunmen numbering five invaded a settlement in neighbouring Agwe village and stole foodstuff, mats, as well as N3.2m cash, last week.

When contacted, the spokeswoman of the FCT Police Command, SP Adeh Josephine, asked our reporter to give her time in order to enable her to find out from the Kuje Division.
