Salisu Mai-Tiles, a businessman, said the abductors had placed a call, in the course of which he  spoke with his child.

Narrating his ordeal, Mai-tiles said, “When they came to the house, they asked me to give them money, which I did. Whatever they asked we never objected to their demand to save our lives, but unfortunately, they went with my 14-year-old daughter.”

When called on phone for comment, the police command spokesman DSP Gambo Isah promised to get back but was yet to do so by press time.
