Abducted Kogi University lecturer regains freedom

The abducted Dean of Management Sciences in Kogi State University Anyigba, Professor John O Alabi, has regained freedom.

The Kogi State Command of the Nigeria Police confirmed this on Sunday.

The Police said Professor Alabi regained freedom last night after six days in captivity.

The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP William Ayah, made the confirmation, saying  Alabi has been reunited with his family.

According to the PPRO, the Police swang into action immediately after the lecturer was kidnapped and ensured that he was released unhurt.
