A joint security force comprising the Marine Police and the Nigerian Navy, has rescued abducted Managing Director of Foani Company, which represents LG and Hisense in Nigeria, Mohammed Foani, and his two Lebanese brothers.
The victims were rescued during a wee hour search and rescue operations carried out by the special team on Tuesday morning
Daily Trust gathered that the victims, which include Foani, two other Lebanese and the boat captain and his assistant, were rescued from the kidnappers den in a riverine community, Orugbo Iddo, located between Lagos and Ondo State.
Foani and his two Lebanese brothers were abducted last Friday by some gunmen while sailing in a speed boat from Apapa to Banana Island, in Ikoyi area of Lagos.

They were allegedly cornered by their abducted on the waterways around the Falomo Bridge in Lagos by the gunmen who accosted them in two speed boats.
Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed their rescue.
Hundeyin said Foani and his Lebanese brothers were rescued late last night in Orugbo Iddo.
” Our Marine Police with the support of Nigerian Navy brought them to shore. Thereafter, our tactical team in the area took them home on Banana Island in the early hours of today. Five of them were rescued. They are, three Lebanese, the boat captain and his assistant” he said in a WhatsApp message.
