A female student of school of Health Technology, Takum, Taraba State, who was abducted 19 days ago, has regained freedom.
Mallam Maiwada Takum, a member of her family, told Daily Trust that she was abducted along Takum-Kashinbila road.

The vehicle she was in had run into a roadblock mounted by gunmen.
Maiwada Takum said the victim was traveling to her hometown when she was abducted.
He said of all the passengers in the vehicle, only the student was taken away.
She was said to have been kept inside a forest in Benue State until her family members raised a N500,000 ransom.
Maiwada said the kidnappers instructed that the money be kept at a location off Takum_ Kashinbila road.
He said she was released around 11pm on Monday, adding that a driver returning from Kashinbila to Takum saw her in the bush and picked her up.
Maiwada stated that at the time the victim was released she was completely out of her senses and was imediately taken to a hospital in Takum.
