The commission through its Chairman Musiliu Smith, at its 14th Plenary Meeting in Abuja, explained that it would not take any decision on the embattled cop until a report on further investigation is received.

He said the commission has directed the police that it must conclude its investigation in two weeks, and such an investigation should be carried out by a different panel.
Kyari, until his suspension by the Commission over an alleged link with the billionaire fraudster, Abbas Ramon popularly known as Hushpuppi, was the head of the Inspector-General of Police Intelligence Response Team (IRT).
The embattled super cop had earlier been indicted by a report of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) of the United States and was also investigated by a special panel set up by the Nigerian Police.
