Abakiliki Police confirm killing of Ebonyi Deputy Speaker’s aide

The Police Command in Ebonyi State has confirmed the killing of Mr Kingsley Obasi, an aide to the Deputy Speaker of the state House of Assembly by suspected gunmen.

DSP Loveth Odah, spokesperson of the command, who disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Thursday in Abakaliki, said the incident happened on Wednesday night.

Odah said the command has begun an investigation into the matter with a view to arresting the perpetrators. (NAN)
