The Chairman of Abaji Area Council, Alhaji Abdulrahman Ajiya, yesterday inaugurated a 13-man Community and Social Development Project (CSDP)review committee in the area.
Ajiya, represented by the secretary of the council, Alhaji Kamal Adamu Shuaibu, said the review committee was set up to liaise with people of the rural areas to ascertain the major project they would want the council to collaborate with the FCT CSDP to execute.
He said there were challenges of infrastructure facing people of the rural areas , which he said the council alone ccould not handle due to the prevailing economic situation.
On his part, the project officer/ monitoring and evaluation of the CSDP in the FCT, Mustapha Abubakar Shehu, said the CSDP was a World Bank assisted project that has been in the FCT since July, 2013.
