The Anti-corruption Advocacy International (AAI) has asked the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to investigate activities of the Office of Senior Special Adviser to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (OSSAP – SDGs).
President, AAI, Chinasa Victor, Sunday in Abuja read to journalists, the petition received by the chairman of the EFCC on September 21.

He alleged that projects the office claimed to have executed did not exist
He also alleged that some contractors were paid twice for a single project and for the same purpose via two payment platforms – GIFMIS and Remita platforms.
Victor said a contract three classroom blocks with a VIP toilet at Aliyu Mustapha Primary School, Yola, Adamawa State, was awarded for N105m and the contractor was paid twice.
He said the contract did not exist as only Aliyu Mustafa Academy, private school, exists in the state.
‘’We, therefore, pray to you to recover Nigerian taxpayers’ money from these perpetrators and prosecute those involved in these nefarious activities as we cannot continue like this in a country where millions go to bed without food and university graduates are finding it difficult to earn a living,’’ he said.
The SSAP, Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, could not be reached for comments as our correspondent’s calls to her mobile phone rang out but were not answered.
Her media aide, Desmond Utomwen, told Daily Trust on phone that the allegations were ‘’untrue’’.
He said AAI was out to mislead Nigeria with false information.
Utomwen added that the office would reply properly when it gets the details of the allegations.
