The Akwa Ibom State Government says it will demolish illegal structures in Uyo after the expiration of a one-week ultimatum given for their removal.
Chairman, Uyo Capital City Development Authority, Enobong Uwah, said this yesterday in Uyo while inspecting the Stadium Road and the Victor Attah International Airport Road.
He said such structures distorted the master plan of the state capital and advised their owners to remove them.

Uwah advised developers to always obtain building approvals from the UCCDA before erecting any structure within the capital city.
