The Akwa Ibom Community in Abuja has urged its members to engender peace and unity in the territory for sustainable development.

President of the community, Barr Aniefiok Ibah, who spoke after he was elected to lead the group in the nation’s capital, pledged to serve the interest of all members and stakeholders of the community.

He also assured that he would advance initiatives in cultural and attitudinal reorientation, as well as partner with the Akwa Ibom State Government to create empowerment for women and youths.
