Buhari re-appoints Dikio interim amnesty programme administrator

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the renewal of appointment of Colonel MD Dikio (Rtd) as Interim Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme for another one-year tenure.

Fami Adesina, Special Adviser to the President (Media and Publicity), confirmed his reappointment in a statement issued on Thursday.

Adesina said Col. Dikio, who was first appointed in August 2020, had been able to command widespread respect amongst the various stakeholders in the Niger Delta despite the challenges.
