Cars burnt as fire razes Federal Secretariat car park

Some cars were reportedly burnt on Wednesday at the phase 1 car park complex of the Federal Secretariat, Abuja.

The incident reportedly happened when workers were preparing to close.

It was gathered that firefighters were later deployed to put out the fire.

A civil servant confirmed the incident to our correspondent.

He said there was an incident of “a car with the electrical spark which resulted in the fire incident and which was put out before it got worse.”

He, however, said only one car was affected.
