The Nasarawa State Police Command has assured people of the state that adequate security would be provided during the forthcoming local government election in the state slated for October.
Mr. Adesina Musbau Soyemi, the state commissioner of police, disclosed this while playing host to the officials of the state electoral body led by the chairman, Barrister Ayuba Wandai Usman at the police headquarters, on Thursday.
He said they would partner with other security agencies operating across the state to ensure that the forthcoming elections are conducted free and fair.
