There was confusion at Tsallaken Dogo Area of Rigachikun Community of Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State after bandits abducted two brothers in the area.
The incident happened around 12:45 am on Thursday when the bandits broke into the house of the victims’ parents.
The bandits reportedly shot sporadically to scare residents away before fleeing the community.
A resident of the area, Idris Rigachikun, told Daily Trust that the victims are teenagers.
“They are teenagers; we are all worried because the two brothers were whisked away and we have not heard from them since,” he said.
He said the last time bandits attacked the community was a year ago.
Contacted State Police Command Public Relations Officer, ASP Jalige Mohammed, said he was at a meeting but will find out the details of the incident.
