The minister, represented by the head of Teamramatu, Hajiya Aisha Baiyee, stressed the need for all Nigerians to embrace peace in the country.

“We all need peace because without it there will be no coexistence and development. We pray for peaceful coexistence in the country,” she said.

The national president of Messengers of Peace Foundation, Dr Sulaiman Adejor, said the aim of the summit was to educate people on the importance of maintaining peace at all times.

Adejor said the Foundation’s mandate was aimed at promoting peaceful coexistence, irrespective of tribe, gender or religion among Nigerians. (NAN)
