The Nigeria Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (NASME) has called on the Federal government to open up more funding opportunities for small and medium enterprises in the country to enable them thrive.
This call was made by the outgoing President/Chairman of Council of NASME, Prince Degun Agboade, at the association’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Abuja.

Agboade said a lot of funding windows provided by CBN and other government institutions do not always get to the entrepreneurs, hence a lot needs to be done to provide funding to MSMEs.
Agboade thanked the members for the opportunity to serve and urged members of NASME to give the same support to the incoming Council members.
The Former Deputy President North, Engr. Abdulrasheed Yerima, was elected the new President unopposed after Dr Obiora Madu stepped down.
The new NASME President, Engr. Abdulrasheed Yerima, promised to work with partners and relevant stakeholders to make NASME a top business association in the country.
