Former Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has posted a picture he took with a man who shares facial resemblance with ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Although both men are no longer holding political positions, the dust raised when they were in office is yet to settle.
Obasanjo was in the third year of his second term presidency when Fayose was impeached on October 16, 2006.
The former governor had accused Obasanjo of masterminding his impeachment.
However, Fayose got another opportunity to govern Ekiti as he was sworn in on October 16, 2014.
But the animosity between him and Obasanjo has deepened.
In a social media post on Saturday, Fayose, who is now based in Lagos, shared a picture of a man whom he said he met in Nigeria’s commercial capital on Friday.
The dressing of the man shows he belongs to the lower class of the society unlike Nigeria’s former president.
Fayose what looked like a sarcastic message to the picture which he shared on his social media platforms.
The post read: “In Lagos yesterday, I met this man. He is popularly known as Obasanjo and I joined his admirers to call him the OBJ of Lagos.”
Did Fayose just throw shades at the former president?
