The French Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr Jerome Pasquier, has said the new Fan Milk Dairy Farm in Ogun State will boost local production, industrialisation, job creation and economic development.
Mr Pasquier said this during his inspection tour of the farm at Odeda Farm Institute, Eweje, a facility of the state government and an aquaculture hub owned by Obasanjo Farms at Owiwi area of the state.

The envoy commended the state government for partnering with Fan Milk, as well as the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, for their support to make the project a reality.
He said, “This is a very interesting project which has large economic value. It is also aimed at producing more milk and creating more jobs.”
The state’s Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr Adeola Odedina, said various industrialisation strides of the state government had been attracting global attention, revealing that the visit was to acquaint the French embassy with recent agricultural opportunities.
The Project Manager of Fan Milk, Onyena Livinus, said the dairy farm project would benefit his organisation and the people as it would develop the potentials of more youths and address economic needs of the country.
