Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Wednesday declared that the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, is hale and hearty thus dispelling the rumour that he was hospitalised.
The social media was recently awash with reports that Asiwaju Tinubu was hospitalised and undergoing major surgery in Maryland, United States. Sanwo-Olu had on Tuesday visited the APC national leader in London, the United Kingdom to see things for himself.

Sanwo-Olu told journalists at the Lagos House, Ikeja few hours after his return from London that he discussed happenings in APC, national issues and other matters with the national leader during his visit.
He also said the picture he took with Asiwaju Tinubu during his visit to London was to dispel the rumour that he was hospitalised.
“You saw him in the picture, pictures don’t lie. He is well, hearty and we conversed; we talked about what is happening in our party and happenings in the nation.
“I went to see things for myself. It is just to put the mind and heart of people to rest that there is nothing for us to worry about,” the governor said.
When asked when Tinubu would likely return to Nigeria, Sanwo-Olu responded that only the APC leader can decide when he will return from his foreign trip. “A man has the discretion to decide when to go out of the country and when to return. It is his call,” he said.
