They include 1,046 males and 1,161 females deployed in the batch B stream 1 of the scheme.

NYSC coordinator in the state, Yetunde Baberinwa, has pleaded with Anambra governor Willie Obiano to save the camp from the menace of erosion.

According to her, a causal look at the camp reveals that different portions have already been ravaged by the erosion.

She said that   if the erosion menace was not urgently checked it will destroy the beauty the camp has attracted in the state.

“We therefore passionately appeal to the governor to expedite action on the landscaping of the premises currently under serious threat of erosion.

“I wish to remind the governor on the need to address the menace caused by erosion inside the orientation camp,” she said.
