Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State yesterday swore-in the new Local Government Areas (LGAs) and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) chairmen elected in the council elections conducted last Saturday.
The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) had swept all the chairmanship seats across the 57 local councils in the state.
The winners including chairmen and their vice took the oath of office yesterday at a ceremony which held in Lagos House, Alausa.

Speaking during the swearing-in, the governor urged the new council chairmen to reciprocate the trust reposed in them by prioritising the welfare of citizens in decision-making processes.
