Centre donates diabetes equipment to 50 PHCs in Ogun

A Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), Talabi Diabetes Centre, has donated equipment worth N5 million for the testing and treatment of diabetes to the Ogun State Government.

The Coordinator of the centre, located in Isara-Remo, Dr Olubiyi Adesina, handed over the equipment to the Local Government Service Commission (LGSC) to be distributed to 50 Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs) across the state.

The centre also organised a one-day training for 50 PHC workers in Abeokuta to empower them with new information on diabetes treatment.
