Uyiosa Samson Ikponmwosa, the fast rising music artiste known as Official Genius says he has always dreamt of hitting it big in shows across Europe and the world.
Official Genius, who became an internet sensation when he dropped his Debut Album, Kamikaze, has focused on Genres like General Pop, Hip-Hop blend with Afro, Alternative/indie and Dancehall.

“It’s been a rough ride and I just kept pushing going with the flow and also praying everyday to God non-stop. I feel like He has planned my path and I’ve just followed it and here I am on top, definitely still getting further because I see myself leaving a huge footprint in Africa, and the world at large.
“I’ve always dreamt of shutting down shows in America, Asia, Europe and other continents and enjoying the love from my supporters as well,” he said in an interview.
Official Genius continues to push creative branding ideas and develop not only his branding but also develop his relationship with his supporters and followers in the process.
So far, his creativity has helped him grow an immense amount on social media and streaming platforms for his sounds.
Official Genius also explained the creative process behind his songs.
“The kind of music I put out are more of live events and experiences more than fictional sounds. I make sure I’m passing a message in my music. If there’s no message then it should be the party songs to get the clubs lit,” he said in an interview.
The charismatic music artiste started his career from joining in challenges and competitions to pursue his dreams.
He won his first award as a fast growing art in the southern region of Nigeria in 2019 (the Joker Award) who sang in churches, night clubs, shows, schools.
He is known for Hip-Hop, POP, R&B, DanceHall Afro Songs, Alternative/Indie.
