Check abuse of children

Almost on a daily basis there are reports of abuse of children and this does not portray Nigeria in good light. Children are part of the vulnerable group in the society and must be protected at all times.  Governments and all other stakeholders should work hard to ensure protection of children.

It is unfortunate that some states are yet to domesticate the child’s right law, which was passed some years ago. I appeal to governments in such category to do something about that development so that children can be well protected.

Parents and guardians should also watch out for their children and wards so that they do not fall into the wrong hands. They should be carefully monitored at all times.
