As part of his community service scheme, the member representing Sagbama Constituency II in the Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Hon. Bernard Kenebai, has inaugurated a radio station he built and equipped for Okumbiri Community in Sagbama Local Government Area.
The community radio is to help in information dissemination and enlightenment of the people who are majorly rural dwellers.

Kenebai, who also gave educational support to some students from the constituency as part of his human capacity building programme, also inspected abandoned community secondary school buildings in the area.
Presenting cash to some deserving undergraduates at Toru-Ebeni community in an event organised by the youth wing of a political group known as “Kenebai Youth Vanguard Education Support Programme”, the lawmaker explained that his decision to invest in education, skills development and empowerment schemes was to encourage educational advancement and enable youths to become self-reliant and good citizens.
He admonished beneficiaries to make judicious use of the offer and be committed to their educational pursuit in the various schools.
The Commissioner for Education, Hon. Gentle Emelah, commended the lawmaker for his laudable projects in the constituency. He promised the people that government will rehabilitate the buildings at the school.
