Five persons died on Thursday while four others sustained injuries in an accident on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
Our correspondent gathered that the crash occurred around 9.am at the Ayetoro/Indomie axis of the highway, involving a Toyota Hiace and a truck.

It was gathered that the bus lost control and rammed into the truck.
The spokesperson of the state Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), Florence Okpe, confirmed the incident in a statement made available to newsmen in Abeokuta.
Okpe said the crash was caused by speeding and dangerous driving on the part of the bus driver.
