The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) in Bauchi has begun training of 20,000 participants of the 774 Special Public Works (SPW) on Basic Business Training (BBT) skills to assist them to access loan facilities in banks with good financial business plans.
Director General of NDE, Malam Nuhu Fikpo, who was represented by the State Coordinator, Lawal Yaya, explained that the training programme was an initiative from the headquarters with a view to stepping down training for the 774 SPW services to be more productive in their respective communities.

NDE Director for Small Scale Enterprises, Mrs Olaomi Roseline, explained that the federal government has extended the period for those that have issues on their BVN, names differential and other related problems with banks from initial three months up to six months to complete reconciling on their respective problems.
