Senate okays creation of French Language Village, Institute of Directors

The Senate has passed a bill to establish the Nigerian French Language Village, Badagry, Lagos State, as an inter-university centre for French studies.

This followed the consideration of a report by the Committee on Tertiary Institutions and TETFUND.

The Senate also passed the Chartered Institute of Directors Bill, 2021 after considering the report of the Committee on Establishment and Public Service.
