The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), on Monday, gave the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir el-Rufai, a 14-day ultimatum to reverse all increments in the state-owned tertiary institutions or risk mass protest from Nigerian students.
A factional President of NANS, Okereafor Bestman, gave the ultimatum in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.
He vowed that the association would mobilise students from across the country and shutdown the state in a mass protest if the governor failed to reverse the increment.

Bestman described the hike in the school fees as “targeted at making life unbearable for students and the entire people of the state.”
