Buhari mourns Zamfara lawmaker killed by bandits

President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed shock and sadness over killing of Zamfara State lawmaker, Muhammad Ahmad, by gunmen while driving to Kano along Shema/Funtua road.

Buhari, in a statement Thursday by his media aide, Garba Shehu, said he was “deeply shocked” by the “tragic circumstances” in which the lawmaker died while driving his son to Kano to board a flight.

Buhari asked Allah to forgive the soul of the deceased and grant his family the fortitude to bear the “irreparable loss”.
