An appeal to Aliko Dangote

Thank you for the numerous employment opportunities given to people of northern extraction, who work as junior and senior staff in your companies all over the country.

I also like to thank you for your numerous philanthropic contributions to many social causes across Nigeria.

However, as you yourself admitted sometime back, it’s now time to slow and settle down because you’re not getting younger. I  will like to offer an unsolicited advice to you since it is now time to start building lasting legacies that will continue to benefit and impact the lives of your northern brothers and sisters.

SPONSOR AD

Something recently caught my attention. It is the story of young men from the North who just passed out from the Nigeria Police Academy, who visited Senator Rochas Okorocha, to thank him and appreciate his impact in their educational development. That story really got me thinking how I wish our northern wealthy businessmen could copy what Okorocha is doing in the development of the education of the less privilege children in Northern Nigeria.

Sir, how I wish you’ll establish Aliko Dangote Free Private schools even if only in Kano.

Sir, for the love of the Almighty, consider what education would do to the lives of our younger generations. Some of these kids are orphans while others are very poor and have no hope.

I wish my advice finds a little space in your heart. May Almighty continue to bless, guide and protect you. you.
