Sterling Bank has launched free banking services for non-profit organisation in the country.
The bank’s Chief Executive Officer, Sterling One Foundation, Olapeju Ibekwe, who disclosed this in a statement issued by the Foundation, said newly introduced Sterling C.A.R.E.S account launched in partnership with Sterling One Foundation, allows nonprofits to operate their corporate accounts without Account Maintenance Fee (AMF) and transaction charges. The only applicable charge on the account is for SMS notifications.
She urged nonprofits in the country to take advantage of the novel Sterling C.A.R.E.S account to keep costs low.
She said Sterling Bank would support and further empower nonprofits by removing transaction fees and other charges so that they can focus on making a difference.
Mr. Oyebisi Oluseyi Executive Director, Nigeria Network of NGOs, said the nonprofit membership body is delighted to receive the news of the introduction of Sterling CARES and its benefits.
