The Yenagoa Federated Youths Council has trained 30 youths in Bayelsa State on entrepreneurial skills to empower them in providing employment.
At the flag-off of the programme in Yenagoa, the council president, Mr. Ineife Perekosufa, said the group embarked on the training to create wealth and put money in the hands of the youths of the area.

He said the youths are currently undergoing training on various skills ranging from makeup, shoe making, Shawarma making and several other skills.
He noted that with the unwavering financial support from its members and few other public spirited persons, the group has trained about 30 persons and still counting to live meaningful lives.
“Why we selected shoe making, shawarma and makeup skills is because if you look closely, these skills create revenue for people currently going by the reality on ground.”
The Deputy Director General, Centre for Women Development in Bayelsa, Mrs Juliet Pulu, described entrepreneurship as the order of every developing country, calling on stakeholders in Yenagoa to help in training more people.
