The immediate past Chief Judge of Jigawa State, Justice Aminu Sabo Ringim, has reportedly died in an auto crash.
The incident occurred around 1pm on Tuesday at Shafar, a village in Ringim Local Government Area, when the deceased, along-side one of his sons and two other persons were travelling from Dutse, the state capital to Ringim.

The Public Relations Officer of the State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC), Adamu Shehu, who confirmed the incident to newsmen in Dutse, said the deceased, who was driving a Peugeot 206 from Dutse lost control at a sharp bend.
He said that all the victims were rushed to the Ringim General Hospital, where the former judge was confirmed dead, while the son and the two persons who sustained various degrees of injuries were receiving treatment.
It would be recalled that the late jurist went on voluntary retirement last year about two years to his statutory retirement age.
