NPC appeals to Ekiti residents not to treat enumerators as intruders

The National Population Commission (NPC) in Ekiti State has called on residents not to entertain fear or see its officials deployed to conduct the Enumeration Area Demarcation, (EAD) exercise in the state as intruders.

Mr. Ayodeji Ajayi, the Federal Commissioner for NPC in Ekiti  State, in a statement on Tuesday  made available through Mr Adeyanju Samuel, State Director of NPC, noted that those sent to execute the project were duly assigned and that they should  be treated as friends and not enemy.

Ajayi, who disclosed that Ado Local Government Area of the state is currently hosting NPC staff for the exercise, adding that all premises in the LGA would be demarcated.
