A councillor in Abaji Area Council, Isa Ahmed Amshaga, has constructed a wooden bridge to link Pandagi and Nanda communities in the council.
Amshaga, who is the supervisory councillor for health, while speaking with Aso Chronicle on Saturday when he visited the site to inspect the work, said the bridge would cushion the hardship residents of the two communities faced.

He said residents of both Pandagi and Nanda found it difficult to cross the river, especially at the peak of rainy seasons, due to lack of a standard bridge.
He explained, “I decided to construct this wooden bridge as a temporary measure pending when the area council will build a standard one, which is already captured in the council’s 2021 budget.”
