The Nigerian Air Force has sought collaboration of the media in tackling the various security threats in the country.
Director of Public Relations and Information, NAF, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, spoke on this in Abuja Thursday when he visited the corporate head office of Media Trust Limited, publishers of Daily Trust and other titles.

He appealed to journalists to always bear with the service any time they were seeking clarifications on national issues and they did not get a quick response.
According to Gabkwet, the military personnel understand that the armed forces cannot work without the media.
The Editor-in-Chief of Daily Trust, Mal. Naziru Mikailu, said the military should always give the media an avenue to do its job objectively by promptly responding to journalists’ enquiries.
According to him, nobody is happy with the current situation in the country, hence the need for the media to do its job diligently.
