THE WEEK IN PICTURES: From Deby’s Death To Pantami saga

This week started with a lot of  theories and counter theories about the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Ali Pantami.

But first, have you seen the Trust Tv’s daily news updates? Have you subscribed to the Daily Trust newsletter? What about the e- paper?

To kick start the week, the Governor of Kano State rode on a bike in his Babban – riga.

And this, my friends is why it is famously said that, ‘whatever you come with, Kano will surpass you’

On Tuesday however, we woke up to the sad news of the death of the Chadian President ,Idris Deby.

He died from wounds sustained on the battlefield.

Deby’s farewell visit to Nigeria.

Feeling spiritual after the loss of his friend, President Buhari attended Ramadan lectures in Abuja.

Seemed like a week of tragedy because INEC’s data office in Kano got burnt on Wednesday.

They said it will not affect voters’ information, so no need to panic (winks)

Thankfully, Wednesday ended on a slightly better note, as the cop who murdered George Flyod was found guilty.

However, Thursday took a down turn again as bandits attacked a military camp in Niger and some communities in Zamfara.

As at Thursday night, the death toll had increased to 60 and still counting.

Also sad, three students out of the unspecified number of abducted students from Greenfield university in Kaduna, have been killed.

But don’t worry, the President has warned bandits not to push their luck.

On a lighter note however, the Federal government has ‘forgiven’ Isa Pantami and asked Nigerians to do same.

Since we are all filled with spirituality, here’s a picture of female cops in Saudi Arabia.
