A Nigerian musician, Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has called out the inadequacies of the Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC).
In a post he made on his official Instagram handle, he called out the agency for mismanaging traveller’s COVID-19 tests, hence delaying their flight schedules.

The musician alleged that they had paid N50,000 for COVID-19 tests but NCDC had failed to generate the barcode needed to show the airline evidence of the tests.
The post read, “Ridiculous NCDC compulsory COVID-19 arrival test portal collects N50k per passenger and fails to deliver QR code.
“Passengers stranded. Business and personal commitments messed up. Who bears responsibility for this?”
The post contained a video, with a flight attendant explaining to Nigerian travellers why they cannot be issued a boarding pass.
The flight attendant could be heard saying, “If you don’t have the barcode, we cannot print the boarding pass for you.”
It is unclear what airport the musician was in.
