Ahead of the chairmanship primaries on April 22, 2021, the Ona of Abaji and chairman of the FCT council of traditional rulers, Alhaji Adamu Baba Yunusa, has called on all chairmanship aspirants in the area to maintain peace and order during and after the primaries.
Yunusa, made the appeal when he summoned all chairmanship aspirants and stakeholders of political parties for a peace meeting in his palace on Sunday.

He told aspirants to caution their supporters against unguarded utterances that could ignite violent reactions.

“The energy your supporters will use in attacking each other should be channelled to tackle the security challenge,” he said.
