Bayelsa backs JAMB as scholarship criteria for N/Delta ex-militants

Boabab Microfinance Bank has launched a scholarship programme for 50 female students to bolster girl-child education in northern Nigeria.

The Chief Risk Officer, Tunde Omolere, said the gesture  marked the commencement of the ‘Girl Child Scholarship’ for female students in different schools annually.

Omoleye, at the presentation of a check to Elijah Future Stars Academy yesterday in Karu, Nasarawa State, explained that the initiative was in line with its vision to support girls in their educational pursuit.
