The National Working Committee (NWC) of the People’s Democratic Party has set up a committee to screen aspirants for the upcoming Anambra State Governorship Election.
The screening, chaired by former Kogi governor Idris Wada, is to hold at 9 am on Monday and Tuesday at the party’s secretariat in Abuja, according to the party’s organising secretary Austin Akubundu.
“It is expected that the aspirants will exercise exemplary conduct and strict adherence to rules and regulations during the assessment that will justify the confidence reposed in them by the leadership of our Party,” he said.
