The Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees has vowed to ensure that the third tier of government gets financial autonomy by all means.
NULGE President Ambali Olatunji, who spoke in Abuja Wednesday at the inauguration of the new executive members, said the union would also ensure the successful passage of the local government scheme of service for workers at the grassroots.

Olatunji said: “We’ll pursue vigorously from where our late leader stopped on the issue of Local Government Autonomy and also ensure the successful passage of the Local Government Scheme of Service.”
